Just when I needed a good read. This book and author opened my eyes up about life . We often read about success stories . People rarely speak of their failures and some never share out of fear and embarrassment of not being seen as perfect. Not this author, she goes in depth about how she wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth . I appreciate how the author wrote about life trials and tribulations followed with advice. I haven’t read many books where the author makes me yearn to seek better in life. I am now hungry for success after reading this . This book is a great example on how struggles don’t always last . The author’s life story had me eager to flip to the next page and learn more about her. There are pages that seemed like I was reading a movie script. The traumatic events she experienced I thought only took place in movies . One of my favorite parts of the book is the ending. The reader is allowed to journal and respond to questions the author created. The questions appear to have been created so the reader becomes more acquainted with their true inner self.
Great read. I trust with the mindset this author has in this book there will be a second book. Highly recommend reading.

Wow! Talk about a success story! Everyone loves a happy ending but then I realized this is only the beginning for the author. The book was titled perfectly because her story proves that if you love yourself enough to want better, you should believe in yourself enough to do better. No matter what obstacles came her way, she diligently chased her goals with tunnel vision and determination. Reaching milestones with compassion to motivate others models great character. I can’t wait to read more from the author!

I’m honored to be a part of Nichole’s journey and ecstatic it’s afforded her the opportunity to share her experiences of humble beginnings to triumph that can help someone else. The fact that she became vulnerable enough to be transparent shows a genuine person to the readers to say I’m an imperfect person that had some ups and downs but this is me and this was my process and you too can overcome and be the best version of yourself and achieve whatever you set your mind to.
While reading her book I began to cry as her words touched my heart leading me to look at myself. Some parts I found to be therapeutic to me urging a call to action to dream bigger and do more.
Nichole is an amazing inspiration, outstanding woman, mother, wife, sister, friend, entrepreneur, etc. I’m so proud of her and can’t wait to see what else God has in store for her.

The Author Nichole Nelson-Phillips book is a must have. To be honest I generally don’t read. But once I started this book needless to say I couldn’t wait to get to the next chapter. This would just be an understatement. This book really had my full attention. Nichole your book was very encouraging and motivating.

Nichole’s book is a definite masterpiece. I love everything about the book from beginning to end. Her story is relatable to a lot of women who’s been through or going through rough times, it’s like a ray of hope telling you that things will get better if you have faith. One of my favorite quotes from her book is “You just never know how life will end up, so don’t look at where you are now, look at where you’re going and be open to change” The book also comes with a reflection journal and notes section at the back. If you haven’t bought the book as yet, I recommend you get a copy, it’s really worth the read.
I am appalled…..I’ve watched this young lady grow from child to Adult hood….And to actually read her testimony on how she over came her obstacles was truly astonishing..I’m very Proud of you Nichole and Thanks for sharing…You have truly touched some hearts with this book.
Throughout my young life I have read many self help books and I must say Mrs. Nichole Nelson-Phillips book titled ‘The Art Of Loving And Believing In Yourself’, is truly written unapologetically with an art of vulnerability, truth, love and forgiveness.
The operative statement throughout the book is, “Be Open”. Yes! Be open to the opportunity to change the paradigm of your mind and your life.
This book is a must read. Well written and I absolutely loved every chapter. It is inspirational to everyone of any age no matter where you are in your life.
